About the Association
The Association was established on 26 January 1998. Its founding members are: SAFE INVEST-MREŽA, LLC from Ptuj, Insurance intermediation ZAP from Murska Sobota, PRIMIT, a company for insurance-related business activities from Ljubljana, and a POOL of the Adriatic insurance company agencies with the headquarters in Ljubljana.
The Aim and Mission of the Association
The primary purpose of the Association of Insurance Agencies, EIG, is primarily:
- to bring together all economic operators in Slovenia that deal with insurance brokerage and intermediation;
- to pursue common interests with other associations and organizations, taking into account the association’s mission;
- to act uniformly in enforcing the Association members’ requests and to cooperate constructively with the Association of Insurance Companies;
- to suggest solutions to national authorities in the interest of ensuring the insurance agencies and agents are able to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results;
- to perform activities that are in the common interest of all members of the Association;
- to establish relations with similar international associations.
